My mom, Joan is having shoulder replacement surgery on Thursday. She is really anxious about the surgery and especially the recovery afterwards. Please pray for peace for her and skilled hands for her surgeon.
Also, Craig’s dad, David, is recovering from brain surgery two weeks ago. Please pray for wisdom in decisions about his care and recovery.

Last night, a former 5th grade student from Blacksburg posted on FB that she was looking for a church in Salem. I shared FCC, among other churches people shared. This morning when I arrived at church and heard Andrew, the college & young adult ministry leader, was preaching, I immediately got on FCC’s FB and sent it to Ashley. She watched the service and sent Andrew an email right away.
Praising God for opening our hearts to hear him and connect. I love watching Him work through FCC.

Please prayer for my granddaughter and our family. Kaylee was viciously assaulted in the parking lot at Salem High School on Wednesday afternoon 10/19/2022. She is battered, bruised and broken ankle in 3 places and emotionally a mess. Several huge bumps on her head where it hit the pavement but c-scan showed no concussion. Please prayer for guidance for our entire family as we deal with this especially her dad Trey who is having a very difficult time processing what has been done to his daughter for absolutely no reason. Thank you.

Friend Amy has colorectal cancer and on chemo #4. Prognosis is good for this treatment but can reoccur in 3-5 years and be more aggressive. Pray for her treatment to go well and for God to restore her for future battles.
